Smecky Music Studios have been recording film music since its establishment in 1943! We are located in the magical town of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, which is right in the heart of Europe. As we are right in the utmost centre of the old town, you can explore the city by foot right from our studio doorstep. The studio is equipped with the latest technologies, brand new state of art control room and isolation room and while maintaining our scoring stage unique acoustics, we have lifted up this space as well.
We play and record music for every type of orchestral project including international films, television series, video games and CD albums for clients & media productions all around the world. We fit up to 90 musicians and a choir, so there are no capacity limits practically for orchestral recordings. The acoustics here are absolutely unique and ideal for the film music recordings.
Our clients come from all around the world – whether personally to enjoy the recording atmosphere in our studio, see the musicians bringing their unique compositions to life and benefit from the magic city of Prague. Or they of course also record remotely (Source Connect Pro, Source Live).
