Academy Award-winning composer Rachel Portman returned once again to Smecky Music Studios to record her score for a historical drama ‘Belle’ directed by Amma Asante. Scoring was produced by Tadlow Music, of course, in cooperation with our in-house The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

Jerry Goldsmith’s The Salamander score re-recorded and released last week!

The world premiere recording of the complete score to Jerry Goldsmith’s The Salamander (1981) has been released last week by Prometheus Records and Tadlow Music.

A second CD in series of Goldsmith’s classic scores has been recorded with our in-house 85 piece orchestra The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by maestro Nicholas Raine at Smecky Music Studios Prague.

Yesterday, after six long days of recording, editing and 5.1 mixing we have finished Rahman Altin’s wonderful score performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra for a Turkish movie Kelebeğin Rüyası (The Dream of the Butterfly).

Re-recording of Hour of the Gun by Jerry Goldsmith

Our in-house orchestra, The City of Prague philharmonic orchestra has rerecorded a complete and fully reconstructed score of Jerry Goldsmith’s Hour of the Gun. This recordings have been realized during summer 2012 at Smecky Music Studios.

First CD in series of newly recorded complete classic scores with more than 57 minutes of music has been released in world premiere by Prometheus music and Tadlow music.

Rachel Portman’s Private Peaceful released

In these days a soundtrack of British drama entitled Private Peaceful has been digitally released on Amazon.

An original score was composed by Oscar winner Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat) and recorded at Smecky Music Studios by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
